Worrying, laughter and lots of food!

You know what I hate?

I hate that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when your worried about something. That must be the worst feeling on earth...besides actual pain...haha obviously. hahaaha

But seriously. I hate worrying. I do it too much. There really is no point to worrying either. I should really talk myself out of it. Ok I'm gonna try now...

Will the reason you are worrying mean anything to you in a year? a couple months? a couple of days? Hours even?
I bet when you wake up tomorrow Melissa you will find out that there is no reason to worry at all. You know that always happens.
Well not always because if it always happened then you would probably never worry but as the case is...you do because it doesn't always happen...hahaha...anyone that knows me knows that I'm having a fit of laughter at myself right now hahahaha

ahhh life is funny isn't it?

I'm actually starting to feel better haha.
My good friend...for the sake of keeping things private lets call him Eragon (yep like the dragon)...so my good friend Eragon just texted me this quote about worrying: "Worrying is like a rocking chair; it gives you something to do, but doesn't get you anywhere" ...Well put lassie.

It's very true though. You know how much time I've wasted in my life worrying!?!?! At least worrying tonight has led me to this lovely blog post ...but most of the time I just sit on my bed and watch a movie and eat my feelings and feel crappy because I'm worrying haha.

hahahaha wow I'm having yet another fit of laughter. I just recently discovered that everything I do involves food. When I was in high school I use to wish I would be the fattest person alive ( not really I just told people that cause I have attention problems 0f course)...but I'm starting to think that might happen haha.

My friend and I have this game where we text each other what we see at this very moment...basically it goes like this.

Me: "What do you see right now...go!"
Friend: "Snow" and then she sends me a pic. "What do you see right this second"
Me: "my bed". and then I send her a pic.

It's quite humorous. Not to mention you really get a feel of what its like to be the other person...step into their shoes if you will.
hahaha anyways why did I tell you that? OH RIGHT hahaha so Anyways most of my pics I send to my friend are of food. Whenever she asks me what I'm doing, I'm always eating... CAN'T HELP IT.

Maybe I should start blogging about food. I eat so much I might as well.

Wow I've totally stopped worrying now. hahaha it's fun being me.

My mom makes it every year and I'm eating it right now. It's basically three layers, Jello, Custard and Whip cream. Basically heaven in your mouth.

haha k good afternoon actually but I just woke up an hour ago so it still feels like morning!
Haven't blogged in soooo long! Been so caught up with school! :( Almost finished with school though! Can't for the life of me WAIT. It's been the hardest semester EVER.

This christmas break I'm literally gonna shut myself off from the world and just focus on my career and myself. I have a pile of books as tall as my bed just waiting to be read and I cant WAIT to dig into them!!!! I love that about christmas! Going outside and freezing my little tosh off and then coming inside to my oversized sweaters and sweatpants, hot chocolate and my comfy couch to curl up with a good book.

So recently I've really started to become more interested in so many different categories of books...I mean besides the usual business section and teen section LOL I'm really still a teen at heart :D
So heres what I'm gonna try over the break!!
1) The Help - heard it was a fab movie so I gotta try it no?
2) The Hunger Games - Has anyone seen the trailer for this up and coming movie? GAH SO EXCITED!
3) The Lying Game - hahaha I started it when I started watching the show in early September but due to an unfortunate semester I never finished it haha
4) The Game of Thrones - There hasn't been a subway cart I have been on that SOMEONE wasn't reading that book haha
5) Kevin O'learys new book - haha forget the title and too lazy too look it up (yawn) but you guys know him - he's a Dragon from Dragons Den!- FAB
6) The Message - a year and a bit ago I bought myself this beautiful pink Bible that I read from every so often and I really wanna finish it. At first it was only so I can say that I've read the bible LOL but now I'm actually really enjoying it and learning from it.
7) The Power - Has anyone else seen the new addition to The SECRET. - I live by it folks and I get through every challenge because of it.

I was gonna write a list of Ten but when I got to 4 I realized - who am I kidding? I read as slow as a 5 year old hahaha sooo I'll probs only finish like 2 of those books.. but it's a nice thought.

Anyways, haha, really gotta be productive today!! Need to start crakin on my Women, Power and Politics course! Stay tuned for some lovely twitter arguments on issues from the course hahaha

OK so a lot of the time when I first meet people, they always seem to say I look like one of these three celebs. First, lately soooo many people tell me I look like Olivia wilde. Don't see it lol
When I was blonde I got Lauren conrad haha. Funny story, back in the day some girl actually screamed and really thought I was her haha. I deff don't think we use to look alike though.
The other person I always get is Shannon Doherty. Don't see the resemblance there either lol.

Out with the old...

Sometimes in life there are just some things you can't control. You can't control what other people say and you especially can't control how people interpret things.
The test is how people deal with their issues. If someone really cares for you for example, their not just gonna give up on you. Their gonna put up a fight. Their gonna want to solve their problems with you, not just completely kick you out of their life.

I've learned that lesson a lot in this last while.
It hurts because you realize what was real and what was fake and sometimes what you thought was real might of meant a great deal to you. If people don't care enough to find out the truth, or to listen to your side of the story, or their too caught up in their own issues that their blinded by the truth, then theres nothing you can do. All you can do is accept it and move forward and know in your heart that you only had good intentions and that you meant well.
From the craziness that has been in my life recently, it's actually brought me closer to my family and a couple of my friends.
I can't say I've been very strong this time. I dropped facebook, I slept a couple of my days away, I had a nice crying fest and I didn't bother trying to do some important things that I could of done if I just found the focus.
You know I was mad at myself for doing this to and I felt guilty. Then I came to the realization that it's ok to not be strong all the time. But you can't let it linger on forever. Life has got to go on and you have got to put it behind you.
So this is my pledge that I am not gonna be sad anymore.
I am not gonna let myself fall victim to my circumstances. The show must go on and in my life I'm the feature act. Time to shine again.
